Jamerson IR: HX Stomp Bass Impulse Response (EQ)

An EQ IR captured from Jamerson's isolated bass track on "What's Goin On" by Marvin Gaye. This IR is to be used in conjunction with my "Jamerson" HX Stomp bass preset, available for sale on my Gumroad.

How to Load IR on to preset:

1. Connect HX Stomp to Your Computer

• Use USB and open HX Edit (Line 6’s editor software).

2. Import the IR

1. In HX Edit, look at the Impulse Responses tab in the left column.
2. Drag and drop your .wav file into one of the empty IR slots.
   • Slots are numbered (01, 02, 03, etc.).
   • HX Edit will automatically convert it to the correct format.

3. Add the IR Block to Your Preset

1. Open the preset you want to use.
2. In the signal chain, select an empty block.
3. From the “Impulse Response” category, choose “IR”.
4. Once added, you’ll see parameters like:
   • IR Select → pick the slot where you loaded your IR.
   • Low Cut / High Cut → to shape the tone.
   • Mix → leave at 100%
   • Level: Return to 0db as it defaults to -18db.
